The Great Melon Puzzle

One day when Yoshi was on the melon farm, Yellow Yoshi ran up to him and said, "Yoshi, Yoshi we need your help. We think a shyguy has taken melons from our farm." "Well I'll help you when I can," replied Yoshi. So Yoshi had a look around the melon farm and came back. "Ok, so what do you want me to do?" asked Yoshi. Just then Toad came, "Hi guys, you know there's been a little rumor that Melon Profits are decreasing rapidly. Yesterday they only made $90 instead of $110, that's a $20 shortfall!" "Yes, do you know why shyguys are stealing melons?" asked Yellow Yoshi. "Well, I'm here to investigate," said Yoshi smoothly. "Well, I'd better call Dr. Freezegood, Clawdaddy, Lakitu and Bumpty to get over here," said Toad, and off he went.

"OK, let's get to work," said Yoshi. First Yoshi went over to the Farms Profit Board. "Ooh, you have lost so much money," he cried. "Yes, we have," replied Yellow Yoshi. "Well, the only thing I can suggest is we watch the shyguys pick the melons and watch them put the melons into the cart that goes to market," said Yoshi.

So Yoshi went off to the melon orchard and watched the shyguys pick the melons and fly away to the driveway to put them in the cart. "I think they're pretty honest," remarked Yoshi. "As honest as they may look, I don't trust them," said Yellow Yoshi. Yoshi was watching a red shyguy take off when suddenly, BANG! he fell out of the sky. "Oh no!" yelled Yoshi. Toad came running over with Clawdaddy, Bumpty, Dr. Freezegood and Lakitu. "Everyone stay calm," said Toad. "Here, I can cure him." Toad went over to the red shyguy and poured green liquid over him. "Toadstool juice," he said. "Good for wounds."

Suddenly, ZAP, ZONG, ZAP! It was Kamek with his army of Toadies. "Get the melons," he yelled. All the Toadies started to attack the orchard. "It was you!" accused Yellow Yoshi. "Yes, you fool, of course it was me," Kamek shouted. Lakitu sprung up with his fishing rod, hitting away all the Toadies he could. "Help him," screamed Dr. Freezegood, so they all joined in. The Toadies fled in fear, but not before Kamek shouted in defiance to Lakitu, "You haven't beaten me yet, I'll be back someday and you'll all pay." And with that he flew away.
