Super Mario Kart (Super NES) is a racing game where you can choose to drive as one of several characters including Yoshi, Mario, Luigi, Peach, Koopa Troopa, Toad, Donkey Kong, and Bowser. The object of the game is, of course, to win the game however you can.  Cheating is wrong right? In Super Mario Kart, it's actually promoted. You can use weapons such as red shells, green shells, banana peels, and lightning bolts or boosters like stars, mushrooms, and coins. Feathers allow to leap over barriers and ghosts make you invisible. GP mode and time trial mode are available for a single player. GP mode, vs. mode, and battle mode for two players.

Although the graphics don't compare to those of some other games, Super Mario Kart is still an enjoyable game. If you're planning on buying it now though, I would recommend getting Mario Kart 64 instead. The game play is basically the same, but the graphics are better and four people can play at the same time.
