Yoshi has gone on even more adventures in Mario Party 3. This time there are 70 new mini-games and none of the old games are reused. The games are harder and there's a new feature, duel maps which you allow you fight one on one against a friend or a computer player.

Mario Party 3 has the old items are well as some new goodies such as a phone which allows you to call Bowser and send one of your friends to him. Let's hope they are still your friend afterwards. J/K. There's also 2 new mushrooms, the Reverse Mushroom and the Poison Mushroom. See the official site for more information.

Instead of a Mini-game coaster of mode in which you have to win individual mini-games there is a story mode for one player. In the Story Mode, you play on a series of Battle Royal Maps (Normal play) and Duel Map (1 on 1 maps). In story mode you unlock a new regular game board and a Duel Map board.

Some of the games are extremely difficult for example Mario Party's version of Tetris. It's some ways similar to Tetris Attack. When two blocks of the same color touch, they disappear. You can also do combos or chains, but this is extremely difficult. The computer players tough, but it still is fun. Play Tetris Attack on the SNES, starring Yoshi for the full affect. There's another game in which you team up with another player and eat as much pizza as you can. My personal favorite is Snowball Summit in which you roll up snowballs and send them on your opponents.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this game if you are a fan of Yoshi or any of the Mario gang and like the first two incarnations of the game. Some of the games are harder and and some new features add a twist to the game.
