... One day Mario and friends created a new world.
That world was Mario Land.
A large sign reading "Mario Land" is raised.
But there was one who didn't think too highly of the name, Mario Land...
It was that scoundrel, Wario!
Wario thought that since he was the super star, the world should be named Wario Land.
Wario punches the "Mario Land" sign and puts up his own.
But once he spoke up, an argument about who was the real star ensued.
Mario argues with him and then turns to Luigi for support. While Mario is speaking to Luigi, Wario pushes him, knocking over Mario Luigi and Yoshi. Yoshi nudges Wario, upset about being pushed over. A light shines over Peach.
Then, Princess Toadstool said, "I have a name we can all agree on,"
"It's just like the princess to solve a problem," they all thought feeling a bit humbled.
Everyone turns to Peach waiting to hear her suggestion.
The name of this world shall be...
Peach pulls a rope to lower a sign saying "Peach Land". Everyone falls down.
So the raucous argument continued for a while.
Everyone continues arguing.
About that time, a terrible thing happened in "Mario Land."
Without warning, Bowser came and started attacking Mario Land!!!
Bowser shoots a flame out of his mouth. A Koopa ducks and runs to warn the others.
A good Koopa Troopa who discovered Bowser ran towards Mario and company!
Then the Koopa Troopa shouted as loud as he could: Mario Land is being invaded by Bowser!
...but he was ignored.
But Toad who couldn't stand it any longer said:
Why don't we name this world after the super star who defeats Bowser!?!
Mario and everyone else agreed to the proposal.
Everyone gets a spotlight.
Immediately, everyone began scrambling as fast as they could toward Mario Land.
Will Mario and his friends be able to defeat Bowser?
