That's right, Mario Party 2 is out now. While this great sequel to the original Mario Party is basically the same, it has a new storyline, great animation, several new boards, and 64 new mini-games (plus duel mini-games). Other differences include the use of items in the game, duels, and that you lose your money less often. Additional options include being able to save and continue an adventure, and add or take out a human player when the game has already started.

There are five boards: Pirate Land, Western Land, Space Land, Mystery Land, and Horror Land. There is an additional board, Bowser Land, when you win on all the other boards. On each board, the characters dress up in costumes matching the theme of the board (space suits, wizard wear, cowboy clothing, safari suits, and Halloween costumes). The characters you use are the same: Yoshi, Mario, Luigi, Peach, Wario, and Donkey Kong. Up to four people can play at a time.
